An email campaign includes various essential elements, such as creating the campaign idea, designing graphics, identifying the target audience, and ultimately encouraging users to click through and make a purchase.



I believe that this is the most important way to engage with your customers. When done correctly, it allows you to share a more comprehensive story than what can typically be conveyed through a social media post or an ad and targeted to a curated list of subscribers.

CASE STUDY:

MANI MONDAY

As the Web Producer for the Mani Monday email, I developed a monthly newsletter that highlights current nail color styles and techniques. I was responsible for creating the overall concept for the project, as well as managing the photography, video production, and email design.


The goal was to enhance customer engagement by offering a chance to win the featured nail polish in each email. Recipients were directed to a landing page showcasing the products alongside additional items available for purchase. To participate in the contest, users were encouraged to visit our Facebook page to comment on and share our Mani Monday post.


In addition to the Mani Monday emails, I designed emails for seasonal product launches and other marketing campaigns. Funny sidenote, we had some fun with our April Fools' spoof dog line, “Ruff Life.” This campaign was only shared on social media, and it was featured on another website highlighting humorous company April Fool’s jokes.

Each brand has its unique look and feel. We typically send out 2-3 email drops each week, along with monthly and occasionally bi-monthly sale emails. As the sole graphic designer, I managed approximately 520 to 550 emails, ensuring a consistent style for each brand. Additionally, I created banners and hero images for the three websites and handled licensing for images as needed.
